Yuri On Ice is coming to an end, and the cast has been revealed!

The show will feature returning stars Olympic gold medalist and 2010 World Champion Yūri Katsuki, along with newcomer Mirai Nagasu. Other returning cast members include Japanese figure skater Mao Asada (2008 Olympic silver medalist), Russian figure skater Ekaterina Gordeeva (1998 World Champion), and American figure skater Johnny Weir (2002 Olympic bronze medalist).

Weir will be playing the role of Tony/The Great Khali, a WWE wrestler who is determined to become the world champion. Nagasu will be playing the role of Yuri/the Silver Fox, a talented skating enthusiast who yearns to become the world champion. Asada will portray Yuko/the Ice Princess, the leader of the ice skating team and Yuri’s longtime friend. Katsuki will play Victor/the Russian Knight, a powerful and mysterious figure who becomes Yuri’s mentor. And Gordeeva will portray Elena/the Italian Skating Princess, a rival of Asada’s character.

The show is set to air in Japan in October 2016 and in America in 2017.
